For Physicians

Role of the Physician
Physician volunteers may assist the clinic by evaluating patients as well as supervising and educating medical students.
  • Patients will initially be evaluated by medical students. The patient’s case will be presented to the physician.
  • After the medical student’s presentation, the student and physician will assess the patient together and finalize the assessment and plan prior to patient discharge.
  • The physician is responsible for affirming the diagnosis, laboratory results and prescriptions given to each patient.
There is a brief application process for all physician volunteers. Please email Manpreet Singh at Manpreet.Singh@medsch.ucr.edu to sign-up or if you have any questions.
